EZAUDIO war mir bislang noch kein Begriff und so war ich gespannt was da für den Preis von knapp 10€ zu erwarten sei.
Ich wurde mehr als überrascht. Der D4 ist ein In-Ear mit einem dynamischen 10mm Treiber und mit klassischer Bauform. Was aus den kleinen, preiswerten Hörern raus kommt sucht in der Preisklasse seines gleichen. Schon vorweg eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
Handling
Der D4 ist aus Metall gefertigt und bemüht sich nicht um ein sonderlich innovatives Design. Er ist schlicht aber ergonomisch. Etwas ärgerlich sind die Kabel ab dem Y-Split, da sie billig wirken. Vom Y-Split zum Stecker sind sie noch mit Stoff umwickelt, werden dann aber du einfach Hartgummikabeln, die sich leicht verknoten.
Die Remote tut das was sie soll und hat eine gute Sprachverständlichkeit.
Im Lieferumfang sind unterschiedliche Silikonaufsätze und eine Tragebox enthalten, die sehr wertig ist. Positiv zu erwähnen ist auch die Isolation der Außenwelt, vor allem mit Foamtips.
Sound
Der D4 klingt einfach nicht wie ein In-Ear in der 10€ Klasse, sondern hält locker mit Kopfhörern bis zu 50€ mit. Das ist wirklich eine angenehme Überraschung und ist ein exemplarisches Beispiel wozu Chi-Fi in der Lage ist.
Der Bass ist vom Hause aus in den Mitten prominenter und bringt das Geforderte aller Genres gut und präzise rüber, ohne zu übertreiben. Das muss man hier hervorheben, da bei den billigen In-Ears der Bass unerträglich geboostet und dadurch schwammig wird, sowie den gesamten Klang sehr dunkel macht.
Nicht so bei dem D4. Zwar steht auch hier steht der Bass etwas im Vordergrund, aber verdeckt keineswegs die Mitten, oder Höhen. Wer noch mehr Druck und Punch im Sub-Bassbereich erzielen will, schiebt die Silikon-/Foamaufsätze einfach etwas mehr auf das Schallrohr um die Luftlöcher zu verdecken. Mit diesem Mod können sogar Bassheads ihre Freude haben.
Die unteren Mitten sind im Gegensatz zu den Höheren etwas zurückgenommen, was tiefere Stimmen leicht distanzierter klingen lässt und dem ganzen eine kühlerer Klangfarbe verleiht (ändert sich leicht beim Bassmod, welcher übrigens auch bei den TIN AUDIO T2 bestens funktioniert) .
Die Mitten sind detailliert und schmieren auch bei anspruchsvolleren Stücken nicht ab. Gitarren sind knackig und die Separation funktioniert bestes.
Die Höhen weisen keinerlei Peaks auf und können mit Klarheit und Räumlichkeit punkten. Klar spielen sie nicht bis in die ganz hohen Regionen, aber weit genug, um eine angenehme Luftigkeit zu bieten und Microdetails gut darzustellen. Dazu sind sie recht linear im Frequenzgang.
Abgerundet wird dies durch eine schöne breite Bühne, die sich auch in der Tiefe nicht verstecken muss, vor allem für den Preis. Man sollte nur wissen, dass sie aufgrund des hohen Widerstand etwas mehr Power benötigen.
Outro
Es ist verblüffend wie natürlich und balanciert die D4 klingen, im Vergleich zu anderen In-Ear bis 10€.
Der Bass ist nicht überbetont, die Mitten fallen trotz V-Signatur nicht zu sehr ab, wirken natürlich und die Höhen können mit ihrer Leichtigkeit überzeugen.
Hier hält man vom klanglich betrachtet einen weitaus teureren in-Ear in den Händen.
Einzig das Kabel ist ein kleiner Wermutstropfen. Da hilft nur noch zuzuschlagen, bis einer merkt, dass sie viel zu günstig sind, für das was sie leisten können!
Intro
EZAUDIO was not yet known to me and so I was curious what to expect for the price of almost 10€.
I was more than surprised. The D4 is an in-ear with a dynamic 10mm driver and a classic design. What comes out of the small, inexpensive earphones is looking for in the price class of its equal. A clear purchase recommendation right from the start!
Handling
The D4 is made of metal and does not strive for a particularly innovative design. It is simple but ergonomic. The cables from the Y-split are a bit annoying because they look cheap. From the Y-split to the plug, they are still wrapped in fabric, but then you simply become hard rubber cables that knot easily.
The remote does what it's supposed to do and has good speech intelligibility.
Included in the package are different silicone tips and a carrying box, which is very valuable. Another positive aspect is the isolation of the outside world, especially with foam tips.
Sound
The D4 simply doesn't sound like an in-ear in the 10€ class, but easily keeps up with headphones up to 50€. This is really a pleasant surprise and an exemplary example of what Chi-Fi is capable of.
The bass is more prominent in the mid-range and brings across the demands of all genres well and precisely, without exaggerating. This has to be pointed out here, as the bass is boosted unbearably by the cheap in-ears and thus becomes spongy, as well as making the whole sound very dark.
Not so with the D4. Although the bass is a bit in the foreground, it doesn't cover the midrange or treble. If you want to achieve even more pressure and punch in the sub-bass range, simply push the silicon/foam tips a little more onto the nozzle to cover the air vents. With this mod even bassheads can have their joy.
In contrast to the higher ones, the lower mids are somewhat reduced, which makes lower voices sound slightly more distant and gives the whole thing a cooler timbre (changes slightly with the bass mod, which also works very well with the TIN AUDIO T2).
The mids are detailed and don't smear even on more demanding tracks. Guitars are crisp and the separation works best.
The treble has no peaks and can score with clarity and three-dimensionality. Sure, they don't play up to the very high regions, but far enough to offer a pleasant airiness and to display micro details well. They are also quite linear in frequency response.
This is rounded off by a nice wide stage, which doesn't have to hide in the depth, especially for the price. One should only know that they need a little more power due to the high resistance.
Outro
It's amazing how natural and balanced the D4 sound, compared to other in-ear to 10€.
The bass is not overemphasized, the mids don't drop too much despite the V-signature, seem natural and the treble can convince with its airiness.
From a musical point of view, this is a much more expensive in-ear.
Only the cable is a small drop of bitterness. It only helps to buy them until someone realizes that they are much too cheap for what they can do!

Die neue $10 Referenz - klingt wie…halt viel teuerer. Der D4 hat einen einzigen dynamischen Treiber der sich durch einen gut dosierten Bass, saubere Höhen und ein hervorragendes Raumgefühl auszeichnet. Der Klang ist relativ neutral, was den D4 in eine höhere Kategorie hebt als der Preis angibt. Gehen derzeit wie warme Semmeln. Kaufen, kaufen, kaufen!
