Intro
Der NEX 602 stellt aktuell das Flagship-Modell von REVONEXT dar. Flagship macht sich allerdings leider nur im Preis bemerkbar, allerdings nicht bei den klanglichen Eigenschaften. Für mich ist der NEX 602 das schlechteste Modell der Firma, was vor allem der schlechten Treiberimplementation und dem daraus resultierendem unnatürlichen Klang gechuldet ist.
Handling
Der Text ist im Grunde eine Kopie vom NEX 202:
>>Verpackung und deren Inhalt macht einen soliden Eindruck. Annehmbares Kabel, Silikon-, sowie Foamtips und ein Stofftäschchen sind sinnvoll gewählte Accessoires.
Der Hörer an sich ist aus Metall gefertigt und trägt sich, abgesehen von seiner angehnehmen Größe sehr gut.
Obwohl er scheinbar eine halb offene Bauweise aufweist (Faceplate-Öffung ist jedeoch kleiner als beim NEX 202), dringt deutlich weniger Musik nach außen als erwartet. Die Isolation nach innen ist ebenso sehr gut.
REVONEXT beweist mit der NEX-Serie, dass sie in der Lage sind ein eigenständiges Design zu entwickeln, welches nicht bei anderen Marken abgeschaut wurde.
Ich finde jedoch, dass das der 2-Pin-Konnektor etwas zu tief ins Gehäuse eingelassen wurde, was das Verwenden von Third-Party-Kabeln erschwert. <<
Klang
Ich bin mir nicht ganz so sicher in welche Richtung REVONEXT klanglich mit ihren neuen Modellen möchte. Nur allein durch eine helle Signatur und angehobenen Hochton, kann man nicht gleich behaupten, dass man jetzt besonders hochauflösend und audiophil unterwegs ist.
Der Bass nimmt im Vergleich zum NEX 202 in der Quantität ab und ich vermisse etwas Druck von unten und den schönen Punch des NEX 202. Er fühlt sich mehr im Mittenbereich zu Hause, hat aber eine akzeptable Erweiterung, ohne dass der Bass des NEX 602 groß in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
Er ist nicht so straff und schnell wie der Bass des NEX 202, obwohl dieser den größeren Treiber aufweist. Ich würde ihn als Grundsolide bezeichnen, ohne groß Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen.
Die Mitten sind mir etwas zu hell und dünn. Hier fehlt es mir an Körper und auch Wärme, vor allem bei Männerstimmen. Irgendwie klingen sie für ich auch nicht so ganz richtig und schon gar nicht homogen. Hier scheint die Abstimmung der einzelnen Treiber aufeinander recht inkonsistent. Der Erste REVONEXT In-Ear, wo ich wirklich ein Problem mit den Mitten habe. Der QT2 war noch ein klasse Hörer, genauso wie der gute RX8s, oder QT5, aber her geht REVONEXT für mich klanglich komplett in die falsche Richtung. Vielleicht liegt es aber auch an mir, wer weiß.
Die Höhen machen da weiter wo die Mitten aufgehört haben. Es klingt einfach nicht natürlich für mich, sondern artefaktisch und zu hell. Das variiert sicherlich von Stück zu Stück und ist mal mehr, mal weniger zu verschmerzen, aber im Grunde ist das nichts Halbes und nichts Ganzes. Man muss den Höhen zugutehalten, dass sie nicht mehr so scharf und etwas milder sind, als beim NEX 202. Ebenso haben sie eine nette Erweiterung und die geschaffenen Bühne ist wirklich sehr gut, aber was sich der NEX 602 hier aufbaut, reißt er mit seinem Hintern sofort wieder ein.
Elektro funktioniert hier noch mit am besten, aber dann bitte ohne Vocals. Sicherlich kann man mit dem NEX 602 im Großen und Ganzen ganz gut Musik hören, mehr aber auch nicht und erst recht nicht für fast 100 €.
Outro
Ich bin ein bisschen enttäuscht von den beiden neuen In-Ears von REVONEXT. Der NEX 202 gefällt mir noch besser, aber für knapp 100 € ist der NEX 602 nicht nur überteuert, sondern kann auch den technischen und klanglichen Anspruch in dieser Klasse nicht halten.
Ich hoffe REVONEXT besinnt sich bei ihren nächsten Entwicklungen wieder auf alte stärken und hört ein bisschen mehr auf die Community und Tester. Es ist nicht alles schlecht am NEX 602, aber halt auch nicht vieles richtig. Positiv zu erwähnen wären hier Verarbeitung und Tragekomfort, aber das allein reicht nun mal nicht, hübscht aber etwas die Bewertung auf.
Mittlerweile wollen die Onlineshops anscheinend ihren Bestand eher loswerden, wodurch der NEX 602 unter anderem auch schon für 60 € zu haben ist.
Intro
The NEX 602 currently represents the flagship model of REVONEXT. Unfortunately, Flagship is only noticeable in the price, but not in the sound characteristics. For me the NEX 602 is the worst model of the company, which is mainly due to the bad driver implementation and the resulting unnatural sound.
Handling
The text is basically a copy of the NEX 202:
>> Packaging and its contents make a solid impression. Acceptable cable, silicone and foam tips and a fabric bag are useful accessories.
The handset itself is made of metal and, apart from its nice size, is very comfortable to wear.
Although it seems to have a half-open design (faceplate opening is smaller than on the NEX 202), much less music gets out than expected. The isolation to the inside is also very good.
REVONEXT proves with the NEX series that they are able to create an independent design that has not been copied from other brands.
However, I find that the 2-pin connector is a bit too deep in the case, which makes it difficult to use third party cables. <<
Sound
I'm not quite sure in which direction REVONEXT wants to sound with their new models. Just because of a bright signature and raised high frequencies alone, you can't immediately say that you are now particularly high definition and audiophile.
Compared to the NEX 202, the bass decreases in quantity and I miss some pressure from below and the nice punch of the NEX 202. It feels more at home in the midrange, but has an acceptable extension without the bass of the NEX 602 being a big memory.
It is not as tight and fast as the bass of the NEX 202, although the NEX 202 has the bigger driver. I would describe it as a rock solid without attracting much attention.
The mids are a bit too bright and thin for me. Here it lacks body and also warmth, especially with male voices. Somehow they don't sound quite right for me either and certainly not homogeneous. Here the tuning of the individual drivers seems to be quite inconsistent. The first REVONEXT in-ear, where I really have a problem with the mids. The QT2 was still a great listener, just like the good RX8s, or QT5, but REVONEXT goes completely in the wrong direction for me. Maybe it's also me, who knows.
The highs pick up where the mids left off. It just doesn't sound natural to me, but artifact-like and too bright. It certainly varies from track to track and is sometimes more, sometimes less to get over, but basically it is nothing half and nothing whole. You have to give the highs credit for not being as sharp and a bit milder than the NEX 202's. They also have a nice extension and the stage created is really very good, but what the NEX 602 builds up here, it immediately tears down with its butt.
Electro still works best here, but then please without vocals. Surely you can listen to music with the NEX 602 in general quite well, but not more and especially not for almost 100 €.
Outro
I am a little disappointed with the two new in-ears of REVONEXT. I like the NEX 202 even better, but for almost 100 € the NEX 602 is not only overpriced, but also can't keep up with the technical and sonic demands in this class.
I hope that REVONEXT will think back to old strengths in their next developments and listen a bit more to the community and reviewers. Not everything is bad about the NEX 602, but not everything is right either. Positive things to mention are workmanship and wearing comfort, but that alone is not enough, but it makes the rating a bit prettier.
In the meantime, online shops seem to want to get rid of their stock, which means that the NEX 602 is available for 60 €.
