Intro
Kommen wir nach dem MH755 zum nächsten positiven Unfall von SONY. Der MH1 ist ebenfalls ein äußerst günstiger single-dynamischer In-Ear, welcher besser performt, als so mach wesentlich teurerer Kopfhörer.
In Summe ist der MH1 der bravere von den beiden mit der leicht stärkeren V-Signatur und ein Fortschritt was das Handling anbelangt.
Handling
Wie schon beim MH755, war/ist der MH1 nicht für den Einzelverkauf gedacht, sondern als Beilage zu diversen Musikplayern von SONY. Möchte man den MH1 erwerben, bekommt man ihn ausschließlich in einem Beutel, mit den originalen Silikontips. Dazu gibt s noch ein Kabelclip.
Die Isolation ist sehr gut und es dringen so gut wie keine Störgeräusche nach innen (wenn die Musik spielt). Das gilt auch für die Umweltbeschallung.
Kritikpunkt ist hier jedoch das Kabel. Die Remote ist etwas zu weit oben angebracht und die Kabelgeräusche sind äußerst störend, was ihn für Sport und andere Aktivitäten nicht besonders geeignet macht. Auch hier gibt es zahlreiche Anleitungen, um das Kabel zu ersetzen und sich so dem Problem selbst anzunehmen.
Was ihn allerdings noch schlechter im Alltag abschneiden lässt, als der MH755 ist die alleinige Kompatibiltät mit SONY ERICSSON Produkten, durch die integrierte Remote, die eine andere Pinbelegung aufweist als gewöhnlich. Dazu ist das Kabel wie auch beim MH755 asymetrisch.
Der Tragekomfort ist durch die kompakte Bauform ausgezeichnet. Das Metallgehäuse macht darüber hinaus auch einen robusten Eindruck. Das hat der MH1 deutlich auf der Plusseite im Vergleich zum MH755.
Wenn man die Möglichkeit hat den MH1C zu erwerben, hat man jedoch eine Kompatibilität mit allen Geräten. Kostenpunkt ist hier aber um die 10 € bei eBay, bis zu 20 € sogar auf AliExpress und das Kabel ist immernoch nicht wirklich zu gebrauchen.
Klang
Auch beim MH1 lässt Herr HARMAN grüßen.
Das macht ihn zu einem sehr gefälligen In-Ear und zu einem hervorragenden Allrounder.
Der Bass hat ebenfalls eine Anhebung im Sub-Berreich und bereitet mit einem angenehmen Schlag und Druck Freude. Im Vergleich zum MH755 ist er der etwas wärmere und nicht ganz so fest. Ich finde in rundum gelungen, nur ein bisschen mehr Geschwindigkeit wünsche ich mir noch. Er lässt die Mitten weitestgehend in Ruhe, kann aber doch nicht ganz die Finger von ihnen lassen.
Das führt dazu, dass die Mitten im Vergleich zum MH755 mehr zurück drängen lassen und Stimmen etwas distanzierter Klingen (Männer). Ebenso fällt der Peak in den oberen Mitten entspannter aus, was die Mitten smoother und etwas wärmer erscheinen lässt. Dennoch sind die in der Lage mit einer guten Auflösung und Transparenz, Details zu reproduzieren. Im Vergleich zum MH755 fehlt es jedoch etwas an Spritzigkeit. Das wirkt sich im Gegenzug aber auch positiv auf die Durchhörbarkeit aus.
Die Höhen sind genau so entspannt wie die Mitten, mit einer guten, aber überschaubaren Erweiterung. Sie schaffen es aber dennoch die Signatur etwas aufzuräumen und für Klarheit und Luftigkeit zu sorgen. Sie weisen weder unangenehme Peaks auf, noch werden sie ermüdend. Die Sibilanten meiden sie ebenso gekonnt. Ich finde die Höhen des MH1 harmonischer und natürlicher als beim MH755, wodurch der Punkt hier an den MH1 geht. Was die Details anbelangt, sind beide gleichauf, wobei der MH755 heller ist.
In der Breite der Bühne, als auch der Separation im Panoramabild unterscheiden sich der MH1 und der MH755 nicht wirklich. Beide performen hier in einem sehr guten Bereich. In der Höhe gewinnt jedoch der MH755, ebenso sind leichte Vorteile in der Tiefe zu erkennen.

Der MH1 ist doppelt so teuer wie der MH755, aber nicht doppelt so gut!
Spaß beiseite, der MH1 ist unter anderem für 6 Euro zu finden und schon wie beim MH755 ist hier das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ein Witz, was den Klang betrifft.
Ist man einigermaßen technisch begabt und möchte sich die Mühe machen das Kabel auszutauschen, bekommt man einen sehr guten In-Ear, der nicht nur komfortabel ist, sondern Allrounder-Qualitäten aufweist. Damit macht es ihn zum perfekten Buddy für den Alltag.
Ohne die Modifikation trifft das durch die Kabelgeräusche leider weniger zu und das Kabel ist zudem nur mit SONY ERICSSON Produkten kompatibel.
Ich sehe den MH755 durch die etwas präsenteren Mitten klanglich leicht vorne, allerdings hat der MH1 das sicherere Tuning und die bessere Durchhörbarkeit. Es ist schwer ihm grobe Fehler zu unterstellen und der Spaß kommt beim MH1 durch die gute Sub-Erweiterung auch nicht zu kurz.
Der MH755 ist etwas lebendiger, der MH1 dafür entspannter und natürlicher.
Im CHI-FI Bereich gibt es ja einige sehr günstige In-Ears, welche zum Teil auch wirklich gut sind (EZAUDIO D4), aber was SONY hier mit dem MH755 und MH1 klanglich verbrochen hat ist bemerkenswert, ob es ihnen selbst bewusst ist, oder nicht.
Falls man die Gelegenheit hat den MH755, oder MH1 im Original in die Finger zu bekommen, sollte man zugreifen.

Intro
After the MH755 we come to the next positive accident of SONY. The MH1 is also a very cheap single-dynamic in-ear, which performs better than much more expensive headphones.
All in all, the MH1 is the braver of the two with the slightly stronger V-signature and a step forward in terms of handling.
Handling
As with the MH755, the MH1 was/is not intended for retail sale, but as a supplement to various music players from SONY. If you want to buy the MH1, you will get it exclusively in a bag with the original silicone tips. There is also a cable clip.
The isolation is very good and almost no noise penetrates inside (when the music plays). This also applies to the environmental sound system.
Critical point here is the cable. The remote is mounted a bit too high up and the cable noise is extremely annoying, which makes it not particularly suitable for sports and other activities. Again, there are plenty of instructions on how to replace the cable to deal with the problem yourself.
But what makes it even worse in everyday use than the MH755 is its sole compatibility with SONY ERICSSON products, thanks to the integrated remote, which has a different pin assignment than usual. In addition, the cable is asymmetrical, as with the MH755.
The wearing comfort is excellent due to the compact design. The metal housing also makes a robust impression. The MH1 has this clearly on the plus side compared to the MH755.
However, if you have the opportunity to purchase the MH1C, you will have compatibility with all devices. The cost is around 10 € on eBay, up to 20 € even on AliExpress and the cable is still not really usable.
Sound
Mr HARMAN also sends his regards to the MH1.
This makes him a very pleasing in-ear and an excellent all-rounder.
As with the MH755, the bass also has a boost in the sub-range and gives pleasure with a pleasant beat and pressure. Compared to the MH755 it is the slightly warmer and not quite as tight. I think it's a success all around, I just wish for a bit more speed. It leaves the mids alone as far as possible, but can't quite keep its hands off them.
The result is that the mids are pushed back more compared to the MH755 and voices sound a bit more distant (men). The peak in the upper mids is also more relaxed, which makes the mids appear smoother and somewhat warmer. Nevertheless, they are still able to reproduce details with a good resolution and transparency. In comparison to the MH755, it lacks a bit of liveliness. In return, this also has a positive effect on the audibility.
The highs are just as relaxed as the mids, with a good but manageable extension. They still manage to clean up the signature a bit and provide clarity and airiness. They neither have unpleasant peaks nor do they become tiring. Equally skilful is the avoidance of sibilants. I find the highs of the MH1 more harmonious and natural than those of the MH755, so the point here goes to the MH1. In terms of details, both are on a par, with the MH755 being brighter.
In the width of the stage, as well as the separation in the panorama picture, the MH1 and the MH755 do not really differ. Both perform here in a very good range.However, the MH755 wins in height, and slight advantages can be seen in depth.
Outro
The MH1 is twice as expensive as the MH755, but not twice as good!
Joking aside, the MH1 can be found for 6 Euros and just like the MH755, the price/performance ratio is a joke when it comes to sound.
If you are reasonably technically gifted and want to take the trouble to replace the cable, you get a very good in-ear, which is not only comfortable, but also has all-rounder qualities. This makes it the perfect buddy for everyday use.
Without the modification this is unfortunately less true due to the cable noise and the cable is also only compatible with SONY ERICSSON products.
I see the MH755 slightly in front due to the somewhat more present mids, but the MH1 has the safer tuning and better audibility. It's hard to accuse it of gross errors and the MH1 is fun to use because of the good sub-expansion.
The MH755 is a bit more lively, the MH1 more relaxed and natural.
In the CHI-FI area there are some very cheap in-ears, some of which are really good (EZAUDIO D4), but what SONY has done here with the MH755 and MH1 is remarkable, whether they are aware of it themselves or not.
If you have the opportunity to get your hands on the MH755, or MH1 in the original, you should take it.
