Intro
Um die SENFER-Familie ein bisschen mehr zu komplettieren, gesellt sich auch der DT6 PRO dazu.
Er stellt den direkten Nachfolger zum DT6 dar und beherbergt einen zusätzlichen BA Treiber unter seiner Haube, was ihn in Summe auf 4 Treiber kommen lässt (1*DD, 2*BA & 1*Piezo).
Ein bisschen Glück braucht man bei einem SENFER-Einkauf immer, obwohl ich gehofft habe, dass sich die Verarbeitungsqualität seit dem DT6 etwas verbessert hat, auch wenn dieser ebenso mit Kanalungleichheiten zu kämpfen hatte. Beim DT6 PRO sieht das nicht anders aus. Gott sei Dank handelt es sich in meinem Fall “nur“ um eine dB-Verschiebung, anstatt um einen komplett anderen Frequenzverlauf, sodass sich hier voranging das Panorama ganz leicht nach rechts verschiebt und dies eine fundierte Rezension noch zulässt.
Handling
Über den Lieferumfang braucht man bei SENFER keine großen Worte verlieren. Das Nötigste ist drin (kleine Tipauswahl, T-Shirt-Klemme, Kabel), mehr aber auch nicht. Das Kabel ist ganz okay und dazu gedacht den DT6 PRO straight-down zu tragen. Hat man allerdings ein MMCX-Kabel mit Ohrversteifung zur Hand, kann man ihn auch ohne Probleme über das Ohr tragen, indem man die linke mit der rechten Seite tauscht.
Wie auch beim DT6 hat sich SENFER ein eigenständiges Design überlegt auch wenn dies natürlich dem des DT6 stark ähnelt. Allerdings wirkt alles runder und geschmeidiger und somit auch komfortabler, auch wenn die Gravur-Textur des DT6 fehlt, was diesen edler im Look macht.
Die Isolation ist mit den mitgelieferten Tips ganz okay, mit Foamtips jedoch ausgezeichnet.
Klang
Nun, natürlich stellt sich die Frage, was der DT6 PRO nun besser macht als der DT6 und ob er überhaupt ein Upgrade ist. Dies lässt sich klanglich nicht eindeutig sagen, denn der DT6 PRO weicht von der Signatur des DT6 ab und geht seinen eignen, starken, V-Stile. Aber der Reihe nach:
Der Bass des DT6 PRO ist wirkt kräftiger und straffer. Dass er der Signatur einen höheren Impact gibt, liegt größtenteils an den zurückgesetzteren Mitten, denn ich vermute hier dennoch den gleichen dynamischen Treiber, wie beim DT6. Dafür ähnelt sich die grundsätzliche Performance zu stark. Ich würde nicht sagen, dass ich es generell basshaltiger mag, aber der DT6 PRO stillt meinen Wunsch nach Druck von unten etwas mehr. Qualitativ nehmen sich die Beiden aber nicht viel, bis gar nichts. Daher sind hier die Geschwister gleichauf und es bleibt euch je nach Vorliebe überlassen zu Urteilen. Dabei ist es natürlich wichtig auf was für Signaturen ihr steht. V (DT6 PRO) vs. V-Neutral (DT6)
Die Mitten dürften gerne ein bisschen mehr Präsenz mitbringen, aber sie klingen bei weitem nicht so zurückgesetzt, wie es der Graph vielleicht vermuten lassen würde. Stimmen werden durch die oberen Mitten etwas nach vorne geholt und geben im Vergleich zum DT6 mehr den Ton an. Sie klingen nicht ganz so reichhaltig wie beim EN900, aber wärmer und emotionaler als beim DT6, was vor allem durch den stärkeren Basseinfluss bedingt ist. Dabei werden sie aber tonal nicht sonderlich stark verfärbt. Wer mehr auf Auflösung und Natürlichkeit steht, sollte sich jedoch eher zum DT6 orientieren. Ich würde den zweiten BA Treiber allerdings eher als Marketing beschreiben, da ich qualitativ zum DT6 im Mittenbereich kein großes Plus ausmachen kann. Dieser wirkt beim DT6 aufgeräumter und transparenter, auch wenn dies natürlich ebenso an der Abstimmung liegt. Zugute halten muss ich dem DT6 PRO, dass er keine Schwierigkeiten mit kreischenden Stimmen hat, auch wenn dies bei günstigen IEMs oft eine Nebenerscheinung bei gepushten oberen Mitten ist, um die Signatur wieder aufzuklaren.
Die Höhen sind eigentlich ein Upgrade zum DT6, da ich ihn ohne Zweifel mehr Details und auch die größere Erweiterung attestieren würde. Wieder einmal erstaunlich, was der Piezo-Treiber zu Tage fördert. Aber der DT6 PRO kämpft ebenfalls mit Sibilanten und hier und da wird es auch mal schärfer. Das hat der DT6 ebenfalls und generell würde ich behaupten, dass auch hier derselbe Treiber im absoluten Hochton zum Einsatz kommt. Dennoch gefällt mir das Verhältnis der Höhen zum Rest der Signatur etwas besser beim DT6, auch wenn beim PRO mehr passiert.
Wo ich den DT6 PRO klar vorne sehe, ist die Bühne. Die ist wirklich sehr ansprechend und auch gut aufgefächert, in verschiedene Ebenen. Hier sind zwar keine Wunder zu erwarten, aber bei dem Preis von guten 25 € schon eine Hausmarke.
Outro
Man SENFER ey. Wenn ihr die Höhen mal ein bisschen in den Griff bekommen würdet und dazu mehr auf die Qualitätskontrolle achtet, bin ich mehr als gerne dazu bereit auch das Doppelte zu zahlen, wenn nicht sogar mehr.
Mit dem DT6 und DT6 PRO hat SENFER gezeigt, dass sie nicht nur auf die Produktdesign anderer Firmen angewiesen, sondern auch selber in der Lage sind eigenständige Lösungen zu finden. Der DT6 PRO ist im Vergleich zu seinem Vorgänger durch seine Rundungen etwas bequemer und hat den höheren Spaßfaktor, sowie größere Bühne. Nachsehen hat er in der Balance und etwas im Mittenbereich. Ebenso ist der DT6 PRO eigenständiger in seiner Signatur als angenommen.
Somit würde ich persönlich den DT6 PRO nicht wirklich als Upgrade sehen, sondern eher als ein eigenständiges Produkt, was Fans der Klang-Signatur des DT6 vielleicht nicht vom Hocker haut, aber dafür andere ansprechen wird.
Wirklich Jungs, ihr habt es einigermaßen drauf IEMs zu produzieren und ich weiß das ihr ebenso OEM-Produkte an andere Firmen verkauft. Achtet doch wenigstens bei euren eigenen auf eine anständige Verarbeitung und vor allem Kanalgleichheit. Mir wäre es dies Wert!
Intro
To complete the SENFER family a bit more, the DT6 PRO is also added.
It is the direct successor to the DT6 and has an additional BA driver under its hood, which makes it a total of 4 drivers (1*DD, 2*BA & 1*Piezo).
You always need a bit of luck when buying SENFER, although I hoped that the quality of workmanship has improved a bit since the DT6, even though it also had to struggle with channel inequalities. With the DT6 PRO, things are no different. Thankfully, in my case it's "only" a dB shift, instead of a completely different frequency response, so that the panorama shifts slightly to the right, which still allows a justified review.
Handling
With SENFER, you don't need to talk much about the scope of delivery. The most necessary things are included (small selection of tipa, t-shirt clip, cable), but nothing more. The cable is quite okay and is intended to carry the DT6 PRO straight down. However, if you have a MMCX cable with ear stiffener at hand, you can also wear it over the ear without any problems by swapping the left side with the right side.
As with the DT6, SENFER has come up with a unique design, even though it is very similar to the DT6. However, everything looks rounder and smoother and therefore more comfortable, even if the engraving texture of the DT6 is missing, which makes the DT6 look more noble.
The isolation is quite okay with the included tips, but excellent with foamtips.
Sound
Well, of course the question arises what makes the DT6 PRO better than the DT6 and if it is an upgrade at all. This cannot be clearly said in terms of sound, because the DT6 PRO deviates from the signature of the DT6 and goes its own, strong, V-style. But one after the other:
The bass of the DT6 PRO is more powerful and tighter. The fact that it gives the signature a higher impact is largely due to the set back midrange, because I still suspect the same dynamic driver as the DT6. The basic performance is too similar for that. I wouldn't say that I generally like it more bassy, but the DT6 PRO satisfies my desire for pressure from below a bit more. Qualitatively, however, the two don't take much, if anything. Therefore the siblings are on the same level and it's up to you to judge. Of course it is important which signature you prefer. V (DT6 PRO) vs. V-Neutral (DT6)
The mids might be a bit more present, but they don't sound nearly as reset as the graph might suggest. Vocals are brought forward a bit by the upper mids and, compared to the DT6, are more in the foreground. They don't sound quite as rich as on the EN900, but warmer and more emotional than on the DT6, which is mainly due to the stronger bass influence. However, they are not particularly discoloured tonally. If you're more into resolution and naturalness, you should rather orientate yourself towards the DT6, though. I would describe the second BA driver more as marketing, as I can't see any big plus to the DT6 in the midrange. The DT6 has a tidier and more transparent appearance, even if this is also due to the tuning. The DT6 PRO has no problems with screaming voices, even if this is often a side effect of pushed upper mids on cheap IEMs to clear the signature.
The highs are actually an upgrade to the DT6, as I would no doubt attest it more details and also the larger expansion. Once again, it's amazing what the piezo driver reveals. But the DT6 PRO is also struggling with sibilants and here and there it gets sharper. The DT6 has that as well and in general I would say that the same driver is also used here in the absolute high frequency range. Nevertheless I like the ratio of the treble to the rest of the signature a bit better on the DT6, even if more happens on the PRO.
Where I see the DT6 PRO clearly in front is the stage. It's really very appealing and also well spread out into different layers. No miracles are to be expected here, but at the price of a good €25, it's a house brand.

Jesus Christ SENFER. If you could get a grip on the trebles a bit and pay more attention to quality control, I'm more than willing to pay double if not more.
With the DT6 and DT6 PRO, SENFER has shown that they don't just rely on the product design of other companies, but are also able to find their own independent solutions. Compared to its predecessor, the DT6 PRO is a little more comfortable due to its curves and has the higher fun factor, as well as a larger stage. It lacks in balance and a little in the middle area. The DT6 PRO is also more independent in its signature than expected.
Therefore, I personally would not really see the DT6 PRO as an upgrade, but rather as an independent product, which may not surprise fans of the DT6's sound signature, but will appeal to others.
Really guys, you have some skills in producing IEMs and I know you also sell OEM products to other companies. At least make sure your own products have decent workmanship and above all channel equality. It would be worth it to me!
